Zusammen mit seinem amerikanischen Kollegen Benjamin E. Griffith hat Rechtsanwalt Sven Kohlmeier auf dem IMLA-Mid-Year-Seminar in Washington Ende April 2017 referiert. In der gemeinsamen Präsentation wurde in einem  Seminar über die Risiken durch Cyber-Kriminalität für lokale Behörden und Smart-City-Infrastrukturen informiert. In dem Seminar wurden auch Best-Practise-Beispiele vorgestellt. Moderiert wurde das Seminar von der Präsidentin der International Municipal Lawyers Association (IMLA), Mary Ellen Bench.

In April 2017, Benjamin E. Griffith (Principal, Griffith Law Firm, Board Attorney, Oxford, MS) and Sven Kohlmeier (Attorney at Law, Kohlmeier Law Firm, Berlin, Germany) gave a joint presentation on IMLA Mid-Year-Seminar in Washington, DC. Both experts explain in their presentation risk of cybercrime and cybertheft for local authorities and smart-city-infrastructure. They gave best-practise-examples for the auditorium of local and municipal lawyers. Mary Ellen Bench, President of IMLA, moderated this panel.
